Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox, born 25th December 1954, in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother and Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox was a flute, piano and harpsichord in the Royal Academy of Music London for three years during the 1970s. She managed to make it by surviving on a student stipend, while working part time jobs. Lennox was not satisfied with the level of her skills compared to other students at the Royal Academy and began looking to find alternative routes. Lennox played the flute in a 1976 band called Dragons Playground. The group broke up before they appeared on I.T.V's talents program New Faces. The singer was lead vocalist to The Tourists (a British popband) from 1977 to 1980. The band she was in, was first introduced to Dave Stewart. Together they will create their own group, the Eurythmics the pop group. Lennox began work on Diva in 1992, her debut album as a solo artist. It became a huge hit both critically and commercially. Nostalgia Lennoxs six solo album, released in October 2014 is Nostalgia Lennox. The C.D. is a selection of Lennoxs favourite blues and soul jazz songs from her childhood. Lepidoptera was recorded by Lennox on the 19th of May 2019. It is a collection consisting of four tracks improvised. This E.P. The album is a companion of her "Now I let it go... artwork, which was displayed at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. This is also her first independent album. Annie Lennox is a Scottish musician and singer who was born on the 25th of December 1954. The Tourists had a minor success in the late 1970s. Lennox as well as Dave Stewart, a fellow musician, would go on to become famous internationally in the 1980s as the Eurythmics. Lennox's 1992 debut album Diva produced many successful songs, including Why and Walking on Broken Glass. Medusa is her studio album from 1995. It has covers of such songs as No MoreI love Yous and A Whiter Shade of Pale. Her six studio solo albums and the compilation album include a number of tracks.
